Simpson Energy Services Ltd was founded by Shaun Simpson, a highly experienced transmission lines professional with over 19 years in the industry.
Shaun spent 15 years with Balfour Beatty, progressing from Linesman to General Foreman, gaining extensive experience across overhead transmission lines and substations. In this role, he worked closely with Project Managers and Site Engineers to plan and execute works under the SPEN maintenance framework, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance at every stage.
He later joined Morrison Energy Services, where he played a key role in establishing and growing their framework contract from the ground up—helping to shape operational processes and delivery capability.
More recently, Shaun has worked with CTC Global, travelling across Europe to train utility companies in the installation and handling of advanced carbon core conductors, further expanding his technical and international experience.
This depth of knowledge and leadership now forms the foundation of Simpson Energy Services Ltd.
